We are so excited to close out Week Three  of the EXCELLENCE BOOK ONE DELUXE HARDCOVER by smashing through yet another stretch goal! 1,058 of you have backed this campaign and made this possible, and to all of you we owe a huge, huge thank you!

And that means... it's time for a new stretch goal reveal!!

If we hit $90,000, we’ll introduce four more EXCELLENCE ROOKIE CARDS for everyone who has backed the PATRON tier and up. Stay tuned throughout the week as we reveal which of your favorite EXCELLENCE characters now have their own card.

BEHIND THE MAGIC Part 3: Spencer and GG

It’s the end of Week Three and the EXCELLENCE DELUXE HARDCOVER BOOK ONE records continue to be shattered, with $79,737 raised from 1048 backers worldwide. We're so close to hitting our $80,000 of red-gilded pages, which will allow us to unlock further, very cool stretch goals we can't wait to show you!
 

So, after you make sure you’ve locked in your tier and secured those super rare opportunities before they’re all gone, you can join us to go BEHIND THE MAGIC once again, in this incredibly poignant scene between GG and Spencer in #3, when Spencer visits her in her hospital room. 

From Brandon: "One of the most emotional, gut-wrenching scenes that I've ever written. It felt awful writing this scene, and dragging Spence and GG through this moment, but it was necessary for the story. It is also an homage to a similarly intense scene from Casanova, by Matt Fraction and Gabriel Ba, which is one of my favorite books of all time. Expect more empty balloons and more pain in this book's future."

From Khary: "This was one of those storytelling sequences that is so unique to comics. The word bubbles with no words, the passage of time with the use of color, the sunlight dimming on the last panel. This was a tough sequence to draw, but I was so happy with how it all came together. When the entire creative team is all on the same page real magic can happen."
